Is the MacBook Tablet a Fad

There are some naysayers out there who claim that the MacBook tablet and other media out there like it is just a fad, and that although they may be convenient now, the bottom line is that the computer as a staple in every home is what launched all of this additional portable technology, and that it is still the mainstay that is needed for any other devices that we all use. Despite comments like this, it seems pretty doubtful to me that any of these things are a fad, just too quickly replaced by something newer and better. Besides, these people have been few and far between, so I don’t put too much value in what they say. The bottom line is that if I need this now, or rather, if my son does, then it is just something that I will do, and deal with upgrades and whatnot later.
